I'VE STARTED A PERSONAL BLOG ...

Having more free time these days (believe it or not), I've started a personal blog.
"He likes Grape Soda, I love Carrot Juice"
How two people who are so alike can be so different when it comes to food.
It's a diet journal of our on going struggle to beat the battle of the bulge, eat well (or not), keep our weight down and the attempts to stay active.
In case there is someone out there in sandal land who can relate to turning 50, working way too many hours and finding themselves too tired to do anything but veg on the sofa ... we invite you to follow along in our journey to better health (or not).

Domenick's FIRST Radio Gig

For our annual "end of summer" SALE we decided to do a radio spot instead of a newspaper AD.
When we found out we could actually record it ourselves, we jumped at it.

My handsome hubby's first time behind the microphone with Jay the marketing specialist who edits and tweaks and ... edits, so that it all comes together and sounds professional ...

Hi Vivian!
I'm over the moon in love with the Emma monograms that I have (all of them)- but my pomme with white whipstiching are my fav's- I chose that color of green because the ladies locker room at the club I grew up at had a woven bamboo wallpaper the same color... I digress.

Anyways, I had 'em on and with me when I was at the Championships this past weekend in Hazeltine, Minnesota and I just had to take a pic to send in for you website/blog!

We've just finished our nine state "tour" of the Midwest/east coast and ended the trip on a sweet note: a visit to the "Oldest Ongoing Ice Cream Parlor/Soda Fountain/Confectionery in the World" (since 1860) in Wilton, Iowa. I had to have a banana split and thought my Bonanno's framed the scrumptious ice cream treat beautifully.
