Kathryn from Chicago recently kept feeling a sore toe after wearing her Bonanno's, until one day she took a closer look ... holes in her soles (top left sandal).
Time for a resole!

Where in the World are your Bonanno's?
Your favorite store manager, Wyndi, headed north for a few days to take in a baseball game at Yankee Stadium (Domenick's jealous) and to see "The Boss" ...

Just a couple of pictures from my weekend in NY.
First, my Bonannos got to see Bruce (Springsteen for those that don't know) @ Giants Stadium.
A couple of days later, another pair of Bonannos got to see the Yanks beat the Angels 8-2. After losing their last couple of games, I like to believe we (Ben, the Bonannos and me) brought them a little luck Maybe by wearing the Bonannos I brought a bit of Domenick with us.

Where in the World are your Bonanno's?

Hi Vivian,
Just wanted to update you on the travels of my Bonanno’s.
This last month we traveled to Scotland and enjoyed the people and sites. As always, I packed my Bonanno’s to serve double duty as daytime tour shoes and night time wear. I attached some pictures of my Bonanno’s taking in a little golf at St. Andrews (18th hole - Swilcan Bridge) and our visit to the Loch Ness Monster “Nessie” and Urquhart Castle.

Where in the World are your Bonanno's?

Hello Vivian,
I absolutely love my Bonannos ... I was so touched when the girls from your store called to confirm that my monogrammed Emmas' had the right last initial (I ordered them 2 months before my wedding so I could wear them that night ... I bought my mom a pair for Mother's Day, and we both wore them throughout the reception, in Boston, MA. Here are some shots from the big day!
Thanks!

No, it isn't a scene from JAWS!

This is the work of a Standard Poodle by the name of Zack.
Jackie just picked up her brand new pair of "Flower" Bonanno's, oh say, about a week ago!
A note from his Mom ...
" ... I could wring Zack's neck!! As I was putting the shoe in the bag to come back to work, he comes running over - as if to say, "What are you doing with my chewie?" Darn Dog! AARRGGG! Jackie -- Jupiter

Where in the World are your Bonanno's?
LONDON ENGLAND
My frog Bonanno’s love Europe. They’ve toured Madrid (see the blog from Oct ’07), Munich, and now London. They are the only shoes I don’t get blisters from when I’m walking all day touring the city.

ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND

Vivian,
I had so much fun finding poses with my Bonannos! The first picture with the red post box was taken outside of Russell Square in London. The second features the Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Looking forward to more travels with my Bomannos...

Ok, so my Bonanno's didn't travel very far ... but I wanted to show them off anyway.
I can't believe this is the only picture I have of my sandals. They are a "Ships Wheel." White base with Regal Blue whipstitching and a boat bottom, of course. The gift basket was our way of saying thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Show your colors!
Spring. Pedicures. Baseball. Need I say more.
A custom pair of Boston Red Sox sandals in Regal Blue with Tristan for Bianica. Domenick insisted on having his Yankee cap right on top for this photo.
What can I say, he's a die hard.

Our Anniversary Date
This is how our "special" day unfolded ...
Domenick and I went to a Spring Training Game, Mets vs Braves at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie. We sat right behind the home plate end of the Braves dugout. Great seats, thanks to Andy from The Stuart News.
It was a little too chilly to wear Bonanno's so I didn't capture a photo for "Where in the World ..." Before we headed to the game we had to make 2 "MUST" stops ...
First stop: To get a cigar for Domenick at our local Tabacconist in downtown Stuart.
His pride and joy ... the Jeep.
Next Stop: Wheatgrass Juice for moi.
(Side Note: Since we've turned 50, I've been watching what I eat and have been working on eliminating all processed Sugars, Salt, Dairy, and more ... two years ago I gave up Coffee and Meat). It's always a challenge.
Off we go ...
Traditions Field is about 20 miles North/West of our Store
It was the 7th inning stretch. I was singing "Take me out to the ball game"
One Die-hard Braves Fan ...
For those of you who can't wait for season to begin, here are a few shots of the game ...
I can't tell you who is up at bat or even the final score of the game.
We had to leave in the 8th inning to make sure Rippy was walked. When we left it was a pretty close game ...

... but I do know who's sitting in the dugout ... Mets Manager, Willie Randolph.
One of Domenick's all time Yankee favorites.
Later that evening Domenick took me to "Gazebo Cafe" in Jupiter. We arrived a little early so we sat at the bar until our table was ready.
Domenick had the beef tenderloin and I ordered their famous Fillet of Sole flown in from Holland. It was prepared over a fire in front of our table, the bones were removed and the plate set beautifully with assorted veggies. I passed up the rich sauce they had to drizzle over the fish and went with squeezed lemon juice. It was out of this world.
My dessert was fresh blueberries, blackberries and Raspberries, and again I passed up the rich sauce for dipping. Domenick had delicious looking cream puffs topped with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with dark semi sweet chocolate over the whole thing. Yummy.
It was a fantastic French restaurant recommended by one of our good friends (and a great customer, who just so happens to be Wyndi's Mom). We would definately go back and we also recommend it highly.
That's all folks!
The end of a perfect day.
